Welcome to The Science of Fitness
Our Wellness Clinic promotes fitness and healthy lifestyle by nutritional education and comprehensive exercise classes.
Dr. Louis Heuser has utilized his medical training to develop scientifically-based 12-week fitness programs which incorporate the facets of “The Science of Fitness” into a logical approach to a healthy life. Heuser Clinic programs are designed for both youths and adults, including athletes, post-rehab patients and seniors. We also offer corporate fitness programs that respond to the diverse needs of employees of all sizes of businesses.
In addition to Dr. Heuser, our staff includes Certified Personal Trainers who have Masters degrees in exercise physiology, and Registered Nurses to assist and motivate each of our members to achieve his or her appropriate fitness level.
The Heuser Clinic features state-of-the-art equipment to help you:
- lose weight
- decrease body fat
- increase lean muscle mass
- increase cardiovascular endurance
Many health insurance plans, including Anthem, Humana and United Healthcare, cover the cost of the Clinic’s Health Risk Assessment for members. During this assessment, Dr. Heuser becomes acquainted with the individual’s personal and family medical and surgical history, as well as any medications that are currently prescribed. This Assessment is an important component for his consultation and nutrition education that is specially designed for each person.
Many of our members enjoy participating in health and fitness programs long after completing the initial 12-week series.
